Add Collective Resonance conductor and updated mask firmware
- Collective-Resonance/index.html: multi-mask conductor with orbiting voices,
per-mask pitch/delay, sync-driven harmony, surround output, LED feedback
- Breathing-Sirenas-mask: ESP32 sketch with strongest-hotspot roaming,
pulseIn timeout, non-retained messages, non-blocking reconnect
- README: document both

Breathing-Sirenas

ESP32 - Minifan -MQTT server

Use a portable battery.

Connect it with the breathingmask via micro-usb.

Put the breathing-mask on your face.

Make a wifi-hotspot on your phone

Name it: Accessphone , with the same as password: Accessphone

You will be connected with a mqtt-server (Mosquitto on the Samenschool server).

There all frequencies are gathered and used to produce sirena-sounds,

converted by different oscillators.

Breathing-Sirenas will share all sirenas breathing in the world.

Collective Resonance: conductor

Collective-Resonance/index.html, live at https://experiments.samenschool.org/Breathing-Sirenas-Collective-Resonance/

A browser conductor for many breathing masks at once (tested for ~20 people walking freely):

  • every mask becomes a sirena voice that orbits or wanders around the listener
  • per mask: pitch, volume, delay time, echoes, mute, solo, orbit direction (tap a sirena)
  • ensemble: transpose, root note, siren bend, delay for all, room reverb
  • collective resonance: when people breathe together, the sirenas slide into a scale and a shared chord opens; the masks' LEDs light up
  • output: headphones (binaural 3D), stereo, or a speaker ring of 4–16 channels via a multichannel interface
  • "Original sound" checkbox plays reading / 2 Hz like the first version

It connects by itself to wss://ws.samenschool.org/mosquitto and listens on wemos/+/out.

Mask firmware

Breathing-Sirenas-mask/Breathing-Sirenas-mask.ino, the updated version of BREATHING-MQTT-esp32.ino:

  • several phones can make an Accessphone hotspot: the mask joins the strongest one and hops to the nearest when you walk away
  • pulseIn timeout (no more 1 s freezes), no array overflow, non-blocking reconnect
  • messages are not retained (no ghost breaths for new listeners)
  • LED on pin 2 reacts to wemos/esp-<MAC>/in (1 = on)

Arduino IDE: install esp32 by Espressif Systems and the PubSubClient library. If uploading fails, set Tools → Upload Speed to 115200.
